Well this week is relationship talk week and it starts out the week with Matthew 22:37-40. I did my quiet time that day with a little bit of wonder in why they used the greatest commandment for the opening verse to study. So before the talk for that day in studying the passage I learned a few things. First, I studied about love and 1 Jn. 5:3 states, “This is love for God. To obey his commands.” In loving God wholeheartedly, your heart is inclined to the love of no one thing more than of God. Then, loving God also with your mind and having an undivided heart glorifying Him in actions and thought(php.4:8, col.3:1-2). Finally, loving God again with your whole soul and hating that which is not part of God(Galatians 5:16-26). In the talk that night it made sense then the goal of God is to know God and help others know God and that for a healthy, vibrant, relationship will succeed if it is centered around Christ that reflects His love for His bride, and to be an avenue to li ve out the Great Commission and the Great Commandment. So in loving sisters in purity(1tim.5:1-2) is as to be careful of their bodies, families, and in a spiritual way, so as to be concerned for their souls, and their happiness above my own. Trusting that God will deliver on his promises. (Psalm 84:11-12, 1 Pet. 5:7.
